GRC CHURCH PLANTS

NEPAL

In 2008 GRC planted churches in Nepal which is located in southern Asia between India and China. A beautiful country with a challenging terrain caused by the breathtaking Himalayas, Nepal is flourishing spiritually. GRC currently has 33 churches, 7 which are located on the high tops of the Himalayas and another 4 house churches. Our GRC family in Nepal is approximately 9,200 people. We have one orphanage with 39 orphans, or who we like to call “Our Treasures”. Three of the children have grown up and are currently attending Bible school in India. Last year we invested in a pig farm and this year we have begun to earn income for the orphanage and churches!

Our leaders in Nepal are Pastor Prem and wife Elisa. Both have such a passion for Jesus and to care for the children of God. Sex trafficking is on the rise in Nepal and they have a strong desire to keep God’s children safe and train them up to be strong men and women in the ways of the Lord.

Nepal’s biggest financial needs are for more churches to be built. Many of the churches are busting at the seams. 3,000 US dollars could build a church for approximately 250 members. Also, a projecter is needed for showing the Jesus Film on outreaches.

INDIA

We also began ministry in India in 2008. It is the second -most populous country in the world and the religion has been primarily Hindu, although GRC presently has 59 churches with a total of 90,000 members strong! We have just built 7 new churches on the northern boarder of India near Pakistan. We also have 2 orphanages with 30 “Treasures” (children).  Two years ago we began a GRC Seminary which has 16 enthusiastic students enrolled this year!

Our leaders in India are Pastor Abedengo and wife Pravena. They both want to see India forever changed into a nation under the one TRUE God!  Our GRC Indian family have gone through many trails these past few years and yet are still thriving under the grace of God. The leadership is breaking through all challenges to advance the kingdom of God!

India’s needs right now  financially are for the 7 new churches being built and for more administration office space.
