Release Ministries is Kent and Andrea Powell.

I am from North Carolina and Andrea is from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

We both became full time missionaries in Mozambique in 2003.  We met and got married in Pemba, Mozambique while starting an orphanage and bible school for Iris Ministries, Heidi and Rolland Baker.

For 6 years we faithfully keep another mans vineyard and now God has blessed us with our own.

We are living out a promise God made to us through prayer and the prayers of others that He would bless us with our own vineyard and it would be more that we can imagine here in Mozambique.

Late in 2008 we began to walk in our new calling and new territory God has put before us.  Ilha de Mocambique was the birthplace and once the capital of Mozambique and now is mostly in ruins and the surrounding area somewhat forgotten.

God has strategically placed us here to “Release His Kingdom” to bring spiritual freedom over the principalities that control all of Mozambique.  This area being the birthplace of Mozambique it is also heavily weighted by the past sins of all who passed through and lived here and the key to national freedom.

God is showing us in the name of Jesus we will conquer this area spiritually for His kingdom and freedom for the people from witchcraft, oppression, jealousy and unbelief.  He is changing our lives forever as we see the miracles He is doing among His people.  He has appointed us and anointed us to establish His Kingdom on earth.  “On Earth as It Is In Heaven!”

We could not do any of this work without the huge cloud of intercessors covering us throughout the world.  We want to give honor to the ministries and individuals covering us in the USA and Brazil.
